In Loving Memory of Sam, the Beloved Potbelly Pig

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Sam, a cherished potbelly pig who brought joy, laughter, and love to all who knew her. Rescued by Cindy at just nine months old, Sam lived a wonderful 15 years filled with adventure, music, and companionship.

A natural entertainer, Sam loved to dance, run, and jump, delighting those lucky enough to witness her playful spirit. Her passion for music was undeniable, and her happiest moments often included a favorite tune and a snack of popcorn—her most beloved treat.

Sam shared a special bond with her friends, Jet the rooster and Sanchez the cat, with whom she enjoyed leisurely walks, exploring the world side by side. Though she has crossed the rainbow bridge, we find comfort in knowing she is once again strolling in the sunshine with them, forever together in spirit.

Her legacy lives on not only in the hearts of those who loved her but also in the pages of the Pigsylvania Pigtales children's book series, which was written and illustrated by Cindy as she told stories of her past pig friends to Sam. .
