Kippy became a familiar sight at events up and down the East Coast, always by Katie’s side, always part of the ride.But Kippy’s impact reached far beyond the arena. She walked proudly in parades with the Bedford County Special Olympics, spreading joy with every step. She comforted hospice patients with her gentle presence, offering warmth and solace in their final days. And in the most remarkable display of devotion, she never left the side of Katie’s sister during a seizure, proving time and again that she was not just a pet, but a guardian and a friend.With her striking baby blue eyes, Kippy was impossible to forget, and those who knew her never will.
