It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Sootie, a beloved 19-year-old black cat who brought warmth, laughter, and endless companionship to her family. Named "Sootie" in honor of her family’s fondness for the local firehall, she was a loyal rescue who spent nearly two decades enriching the lives of those around her. Known for her affectionate nature and unwavering need for attention, Sootie’s presence could brighten any room and turn any moment into a cherished memory.

Sootie is survived by her devoted parents, Dustin Hoffman and Michelle Rogish, along with her pet siblings, Blitz, Ember, and Asher, each of whom shared countless cuddles and playful moments with her. While her absence will be deeply felt, her spirit lives on in the hearts of her family and all who had the joy of knowing her.

Rest peacefully, dear Sootie. You were, and always will be, deeply loved.
